An ego boost & my favorite article of the past year

Each year, Lawrence Magazine contributors and staff recognize one article from the past year as “article of the year.” I’m honored that the 2011-2012 article of the year, in a very close vote, was my Affair of the Heart and Feather from the Winter 2011 issue. I’m doubly pleased by the recognition because this story of an eagle love affair was my personal favorite of the past year.
